Course Aims: To cover all the main rules of Tajweed, help students apply them correctly and for them to enjoy reciting the Qur’an with tarteel (measured recitation). The course tutor is world renowned for his recitation, further details can be found on his website http://www.hafsalgazzi.webs.com/.

Tajweed is the art of reciting the Qur’an correctly and beautifully; it is essential for every person who recites the Qur’an even if its just in Salaah. Our recitation in salaah is directly addressed to Allah (SWT) and it is a pity that so many people make severe mistakes in it because of a lack of implementation of Tajweed rules.

A new course starting Monday 30th January 2012 for 10 weeks

“O you who have believed, when you rise to [perform] prayer, wash your faces and your forearms to the elbows and wipe over your heads and wash your feet to the ankles. And if you are in a state of janabah, then purify yourselves. But if you are ill or on a journey or one of you comes from the place of relieving himself or you have contacted women and do not find water, then seek clean earth and wipe over your faces and hands with it. Allah does not intend to make difficulty for you, but He intends to purify you and complete His favor upon you that you may be grateful.” (Qur’an 5:6).

No Muslim can do without this course!

How to perform/the Fardh & Sunnah of Wudhu
Tayammum & when it is permissible
The invalidators of Wudhu and Tayammum
The different types of Ghusl
Wiping over the socks
